If you are going to make a list of games for a teenage girl with todays games, than maybe add a few games that are not geared to “home-making, and the pretentious ancient” ideal that these are the only things that interest females.

Where is MineCraft? Sims? Roblox? Arcane Legend? I can go on…but my point here, the percentage of female adolescents playing these types of games are higher than the males..

Yet, this list as described “games for girls that boys probably would not like” is in my opinion, is either a Man not doing his research and “guessing” for sake of getting his name in print. Or as also my opinion, someone who is so clearly deluded by their own ethos that they believe girls should be gils and play with dolls and makeup and dress up…while boys can play with guns and have fun and do whatever because society has forced the idea of men being “better, stronger, saner, and more care free” than it has allowed women to be for centuries….

This may not have meant to be a misogynistic message article, but that is how I perceive it, and I know if more educated women and adolescent females and even males saw this, I would not be alone in my feelings and probably comments on how clear the message of this “article” truly speaks to the reader.

I’m really disappointed that somebody there decided that the only games that are good for teenage girls or that teenage girls like have to do with shopping, fashion, the F×#!£@= Kardash-A-Hoes, and being pregnant.)

These games do nothing more than stereotype young women in the same way Barbie has, and toys like the easy bake oven, and “those creepy almost real baby dolls”. I was searching to see if there was any new RPO games for my daughter and I to join together, this list just made me angry.

The lists for boys are all guns and gangster and tough, where are there games to “subconsciously train them to be house-husbands”? Moreover, WHERE ARE THE BRAIN TRAINING GAMES or more puzzle types in this list?

Im not sorry for this comment, I am sorry for the unknowing parent/parents that read this list and conform to these ridiculous and completely wrong gender “roles”. We are in a new age of acceptance and knowledge and it is clear the writer is neither accepting, understanding or knowledgeable about TODAY’S TEENAGE YOUNG WOMEN. My daughter rolled her eyes at this list and is introducing me to some of her favorites. They are so not lame “pink only” games. What is more none of them help her make stories about being pregnant and shopping and being a happy uneducated “socialite”

. There are so many many games out in Android that are smart and creative and allows for the senses to delve in fantasy and imagination. I doubt very much that a high percentage of young ladies play these games shown, maybe tried but the future women have more substance and are less shallow than you gaming list allows.

Just for your knowledge, I have always been an avid gamer since my first PC, age 11. Obviously it was DOS, but the games even than were better than this list. I was a GM for many years on an Ultima Online Server that was Free and very popular. It sucks finding a game that appeals to women gamers that embody role play and action. Most games are created for male players.

However, that does not mean us bad ass women gamers are not there….we are…always have been….we are the ones that most assume are men kicking everyone’s asses.

Please find a more current researcher/writer… I suggest someone born in this age, not pre Mary Tyler Moore…I am always available for input 🙂
